Install PRTG Network Monitor on Vmware 3, Vmware Vsphere 5, Vmware ESXi

Good Afternoon,

I wonder if the program can be installed in a virtualized environment, VMware Infrastructure 3 currently own and I will upgrade to 5 and also use VMware servers with VMware ESXi environment, your program runs smoothly in these environments?

Hi,
PRTG will run in a virtualized environment but depending on the used sensor types (e.g. WMI -> bad; SNMP -> good) the performance might decrease with a higher number of sensors. We recommend using the Site Planner Tool to determine whether your installation can be virtualized.
