Hello,

there seems to be an issue with resolving the hostname for this sensor. Please check all DNS-Settings for the NIC(s) on the PRTG Host. Please then also try if switching the "Outgoing IP for monitoring requests"-Setting in the PRTG Probe Admin Tool does help.

best regards.

Hi,

I got the same error, but it has been resolved.

I change the sensor of Ping settings, changed "IPV4 Address/DNS Name" from "http://www.abc.com" to "www.abc.com".

Hope this can help you.

I did something similar. The DNS server was being monitored under it FQDN, I changed that to is fixed IP and all good again.
