How do I update to a newer version of PRTG

I am running V7.1.4.3439 how do i update it to the latest version of PRTG?

When updating our software all you need to do is install the newer edition over the older edition. Your configuration and historic data will be retained.

Commercial update installers are available from your registered account (purchase email address) under https://service.paessler.com/en/login.

Does this solution apply to installations where remote probes exist as well?

Yes of course, the remote probes will then automatically update themselves.

After the install completes on the remote probes will they reboot or if it is needed it will prompt you on the next login? We don't want to install the update and have all remote probe servers auto rebooting.

They shouldn't reboot in this case.
