does prtg has a mechanism by which it can adjust to the sensor limits over a period of time using historical data? If so how to use and configure it?

two things.

a.) Lets say my upper warning limit for a full page download is set to 15 secs. Usually this takes around 1 sec or so. So over a period of time the average would be around 2-3 secs. Now suddenly if that starts taking close to 10 secs (could be under a attack or something), how do we know. Can PRTG alert us in that kind of situation when the threshold value is outside the average but still remains within the warning/error limits.

b) Not related to this but, we have a job running at 2 AM and at this time the full page download takes more than 15 secs and we have to ignore the alerts. Is there a way we can specify these limits conditional (or time specific).

Hi,
for a): You might just set your warning/error limits to 10/15 seconds and use additional a threshold trigger for loading time if the loading time is above, let's say, 5 seconds but below the warning limit of 10 seconds. The sensor won't go to a alarm state but you will receive a email notification.
for b): Please have a look at the Schedules function for this purpose. PRTG can pause sensors or notifications for a predefined time.
