Setting sensor parameters via API?

Votes:

0

I have a large number of remote servers, each acts as a HTTP proxy for the building in which it is installed. I need to monitor the availability of the proxy service and chose to use the HTTP sensor to fetch a web page via the proxy service of each server.

1. Can I request that putting "/" in the proxy address is treated the same as the HTTP check address. i.e. it gets replaced with the IP of the device the sensor is attached to.

2. How do I set the Proxy Address for the HTTP sensor via API?

Thanks.

Hi,
1: No, this is not possible you will have to set the IP/DNS name explicitly.
2: This is not possible either as it is a inherited setting. The inherited settings are wrapped up in a hidden field which makes it impossible to access the same.
Best regards
