We have installed SCVMM 2012 and 2012 servers running HyperV. SCVMM is giving us this error while trying to create the SCVMM Host sensor. There are other Windows sensors running fine against this SCVMM server.

Error Message Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client cannot complete the operation within the time specified. Check if the machine name is valid and is reachable over the network and firewall exception for Windows Remote Management service is enabled. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic. Sensor Type SCVMM Host

While trying to add a HyperV virtual machine sensor to a 2012 server we are getting No Virtual Machine available. There are 3 virtual machines running on this server.

PRTG version 13.1.1.1182

Hi, please download the WMI Tester and perform the following two queries in the namespace root\virtualization on the target system of the sensors:

SELECT Name,ElementName,Description FROM Msvm_ComputerSystem
SELECT Name,ElementName,Description FROM Msvm_ComputerSystem WHERE ProcessID<>NULL

What are the results?
Best regards
