How do I setup an SFTP sensor?

I need to setup a sensor to monitor an sftp - ftp over ssh - server. I get an error "connection closed gracefully" when trying to use the ftp sensor with username and password and changing the port to 22. I cannot find a way to accept the ssh key for sftp or tcp port sensor.
