The PRTG SSH sensors support Solaris and you can use NetSNMP, to activate some of the snmp sensors, like

• snmp cpu
• snmp memory
• snmp disk free
• snmp traffic

Hi,
as long as the syslogs are exported correctly from the Solaris system you should be able to monitor them using the Syslog Sensor.

You will have to set up your Solaris machine to send the syslogs to the PRTG Server and then set up the Syslog Sensor in PRTG. The syslog senor has some limitations as PRTG is not a dedicated syslog server.

What path of prtg do i sun syslog.conf to write.

also what configuration require in syslog.conf to send log to prtg server.

The machien running PRTG has to be set up as syslog receiver. For a detailed documentation on how to configure the syslog daemon correctly, please see the man page of the same.
