How can i monitor with FTP Server File Count Sensor subdirectories?

It is also possible to monitors hidden files?

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. In the moment, sub-folders cannot be recursed, but we've added this to the wishlist, and hope to have this implemented in the next 1-2 months. Please bear with us on that.
Hidden files are not counted, that's won't be possible, due to them being flagged as 'hidden' by the FTP-Protocol. Sorry.

I will also be interested in such a functionality. Counting files in a FTP folder means often that you have to count ALL the files and not only the files in a folder.

We have implemented this feature in our current preview release.

You can already test the feature by installing a PRTG freeware version and updating it to the latest preview version.

This feature will be soon documented here.

For monitoring the subdirectories create a new FTP Server File Count Sensor and select the option "Check folder on parent device".
