Changing device ip address outside of PRTG

I will like to be able to open the main configuration file and do a quick search and replace on all device IP addresses in a text editor such as Notepad/Notepad++. Is this allowed? If so, which file should I edit?

TIA.

Klaus

This is possible albeit not recommended or supported. If you still want to do this, you can find the PRTG Configuration.dat file by reviewing the following article PRTG Data Storage

In the config file you will find all the settings for the Devices and their Sensors. Please make sure to make a backup of the config and to stop the PRTG services before editing it.
