Is there a way to search notification groups?

Votes:

0

We have many notification groups that contain email addresses of people who should receive alerts for various servers (e.g. an email group, web services group, etc.). One person whose email address is included in several different places is leaving our place of employment and needs to be removed from wherever it is included. Is there a way to search all notifications for a particular email address? Otherwise, I'll need to manually open every group and see if this email address is included. :-(

If you have this person in a group and the group is specified in the notifications, then removing their account from this group should take care of the notifications.

If they were put into these notifications manually by specifying the email address, there really is no way to search through the notifications but the easiest way to find out would be to run the test on all of the notifications and see which ones the person gets.

Thanks. They were put into the notifications manually, so I guess I just do the ones I remember, and then wait to see if I missed any.

This is a good reason to put everyone into PRTG groups!
