The new Trap engine is not yet available in the last update releases. This feature will be implemented at a later time. At the moment we cannot yet specify roughly when, sorry.

I am wondering about the same and keen to understand when and what the new feature will be. the newer version is apparently available on the preview versions. I can not see anything new in terms of functionality. (it does claim to be high performance) We are in a situation where we need a better function trap receiver. if the newer version is not more flexible, we'll have to look for another product as an dedicated trap receiver.

Have you tried the new SNMP Trap sensor, currently available in the Preview channel release? If so, what shortcomings do you discern as regards your case, respectively what is it that you are missing?
