Default values of the autodiscovery sensors

I have searched the help and knowledge base, but came up empty handed. When I autodiscover a Windows server, it starts with over 20 sensors. Is there a list of the sensors created in autodiscovery mode (for Windows, snmp devices, etc.) and their default values (warning at x%, error at y%)?

Dear Danny,

I'm afraid there is no list of which sensors might be created on Windows Servers when using the Auto-Discovery (as it also depends on exactly what counters are available). The default-thresholds are hard coded into PRTG.

Best Regards.

Do you have a list of the default thresholds? This would give us insight if all of the servers/routers are monitored correct or if they need some adjustments from the defaults.

Dear Danny,

some of the thresholds are defined in the templates used for the Auto-Discovery (\PRTG Network Monitor\devicetemplates-folder). For example in the Server HP-template:

        <upperlimitwarning>
          90
        </upperlimitwarning>

for the CPU Load sensor.
For WMI Sensors (Disk Space, Memory and CPU Load) we would suggest to simply add one, and check the limits in the 'Channel'-tab. For instance, the WMI Diskspace Sensors have 25% free space as warning limit, and 10% as error-limit as defaults.

FYI, the other default limits are:
WMI Memory Sensor: LimitMinWarning = 20
WMI Pagefile Sensor: LimitMaxWarning = 60 and LimitMaxError = 90

QoS Sensor:

Packets Lost: limitmaxwarning = 1
Packets Out of Order: limitmaxwarning = 0
Packets Duplicated: limitmaxwarning = 0
Packet Delay Variation Min: limitmaxwarning = 100

Best Regards.
