I am having an issue with applying an SNMP Traffic Sensor to remote L3 Switches.
I get the following Error in PRTG when selecting the sensor. No response (check: firewalls, routing, snmp settings of device, IPs, SNMP version, community, passwords etc) (SNMP error # -2003)
A little back ground as to when this issue started.
Prior to today, my PRTG server located at my data center connected to a switch > router with a WAN connection to remote router.
Today, I moved my PRTG server behind a Firewall, my Firewall rule is an ANY inbound and outbound zone my remote router is on. I am able to ping the remote router from the PRTG server, I can trace route to it, etc. Most all other sensors work as expected other than the SNMP Traffic sensor. When I try to apply the SNMP Traffic sensor, I can see PRTG pass the traffic to the zone my remote router is on.
