Can the monitoring database be sent to a SQL database?

We can not shut down the Core Server because we use PRTG graphing/reports to monitor our server room, and generate our uptime reports. Shutting down the service to disconnect from the database will skew our results. As I understand it, you can not backup the Monitoring database without shutting it down. Can the database be sent/mirrored to a Microsoft SQL database? In doing so we could open support on it.

Dear Andy,

mirroring PRTGs Monitoring Database into any SQL Server is not possible. However it should be no problem to backup (copy) everything from the folder "Monitoring Database" except todays subfolders. Only todays folders/files are accessed in write-mode. Everything older is only accessed with read-access (to get data for reports, graphs etc.).

Best Regards.
