How I can configure a postdata for activate an HTTP action?

I am check the notifications that exist on PRTG, I tried to configure an HTTP action but I dont know how it operate; also I dont know what is "Postdata" and how I can configure this or what is their function, can somebody help me???

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Postdata is a form of a HTTP Request to send data (more than just the HTTP Request against the URL) to a webserver. It depends what the target does accept. Please check this with the admin of the webserver, which is targeted then by the HTTP Notification of PRTG.

Thanks for the information, can you give me an example that how to configure the HTTP Action or wich is the information that I must to put in the "Postdata" slot??

I'm sorry, Postdata is very very flexible, it could be almost 'anything', so an example will not help as much, as it most likely will not fit your purpose/target webserver.
