Is it possible to change the static height of maps?

We use large monitors for out NOC display and are trying to make some maps but are having problems. It's nice that a map container will dynamically expand horizontally to fill any screen. However it appears that the height of the map container has a fixed height. On small monitors the map can scroll off the bottom of the screen; worse is that on large monitors there's 2-3 inches of dead space below the map that could be used for display. Is there a way to either make the map container dynamic in ther vertical? If not, is there a way to change the static height of the container?

Dear Jim,

you can adjust the absolute height of a Map in the map's settings.

To do so, choose Maps from the web interface's main menu, then click on a map and switch to the Settings tab. There, you can adjust the absolute size of your Map in the Map Layout section.
