As of PRTG version 14.x.13 (currently available in the Preview release channel), you are able to zoom into data graphs and to scroll on the time axis with according control buttons.

Unfortunately due to how PRTG graphs, this would not be possible. We collect so many data points to ensure that the graphs are accurate that all of the graphs that you see in PRTG are precalculated and stored in a graph cache so that they load quickly.

To have dynamic graphs like this would require a recalculation of all the datapoints for each time you zoomed into a graph which would take a very long time and would ruin the performance of PRTG.

Hi, I have asked about this before (Ryanair) and was told that it was on the roadmap. It is a major bugbear of mine that PRTG cannot do this whilst free alternatives (Cacti, Nagios) can do it.

Is this definitley not going to happen ? Can we get some official response ?

We will work on a possibility to visually "move around" the graph data later this year. It's actually not a feature that has been asked for very often. But it will be coming.
