I am looking at ways to monitor Active Directory Federation Services pages. We can monitor the actual server along with the VIP but I am looking to see if there is a way to monitor a login to our ADFS page? We are using forms based login page.

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm very sorry though, in the moment PRTG does not have sensors to monitor ADFS.Pages. Maybe other users can suggest a tip though!

best regards.

I monitoring the ADFS operational page, https://adfsserver.domain.com/adfs/fs/federationserverservice.asmx and require the response to include <soap:address location="https://adfsserver.domain.com/adfs/fs/federationserverservice.asmx"/>

This doesn't test the actual login per se, but it does check the functional page that any federation partner would interface with.
