Calculating a percentage for printer consumbles

Votes:

0

Hi,

We use Konica Minolta printers and some of devices (for example, 40P or C25) not directly displayed consumbles OIDs as a %, you must calculate the value from two OIDs.

Example: 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 current level 1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.8 total capacity

1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 * 100 / .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.8 = level in percent

How can I calculate this element in prtg? Thanks.

Hi,
for this purpose, you might have a look at the Sensor Factory Sensor. It can be used to do calculations based on sensor values.
Best regards

Ok, thanks. And in this case, can I hide sensors used for calculation and keep only final factory sensor?

No, I'm afraid the sensors on which the calculation is based cannot be hidden. Sorry.
