Temporary Internet Files .js files

C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

and

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

are filling up with .js files for the past month - having to manually delete....

running PRTG/12.4.6.3230 on windows server 2008R2

-js-files content-ie5 temporary-internet-files

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Unfortunately, this is a known issue of the Internet Explorer, which PRTG potentially uses with the "HTTP Full Page"-Sensor:

How To Get Rid of Huge "Default User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5" Folders

You can prevent the files from being created by switching your HTTP Full Page Sensors to the Chromium Engine.
