Is it possible to set PRTG Historic Sensor Data on a group or device rather than globally

Currently we use Cacti to monitor low volume counters. eg counting the number of network switches we have once per day or the number of interfaces up vs down each hour. These type of counters are useful to trend over 5 years+ to judge expansion or contraction of the network.

In PRTG is it possible to set "Historic Sensor Data" to 5 years for a group of sensors that won't create a lot of data but leave the global setting to 365 days? If not, please consider this a feature request...

It would also be useful to set certain groups to keep historic data for less than 365 days.

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm afraid in the moment this can only be set globally, and there are no plans to change this in the near future. But I did add your wish to the wishlist.

best regards.
