Anti-virus software and PRTG Server

What are the recommendations for running Anti-virus software on the PRTG server? Is it ok to run it? Will it slow it down to much if real time checking is enabled?

PRTG and Anti-Virus Software

In general, we do not face many issues with Anti-virus software. We sometimes have issues with Ant-virus software during installation or creating reports.

Should you experience difficulties, please check if disabling your security software fixes the problem. If so, turn it back on and try excluding the PRTG program folder.
