Using SNMP SET in PRTG

Votes:

0

We are currently trying to find out if we can use PRTG for an upcoming project.

One big requirement is that we actually control some functions in our external modules.

We're gonna be using W&T WebIO modules. I know that the outputs of these devices can be controlled using SNMP.

The question is: can I do that with PRTG? It's a rather simple case of setting the output on and off, but I haven't found out how I can send SNMP commands from PRTG.

Is there a solution to this?

control prtg set setup snmp

This is not directly implemented in PRTG, but you could use an EXE notification in conjunction with netsnmp tools.
