What is the best way to contact the Paessler support team?

I have problems with my PRTG installation and need help. Perhaps I found a bug. I would like to provide log files and a screenshot to provide as much helpful information as possible.

What is the best way to contact the Paessler support team to get assistance? How can I easily add log files and attach screenshots to my question?

How to contact the Paessler support team

PRTG

You can contact the Paessler support team via the Contact Support form in PRTG: in the main menu bar, go to Setup | Contact Support. You can also click Contact Support in the footer in the bottom-right corner on every page.

In the pop-up window, select the scope of your question and your current emotional state. Describe your problem next:

  • Summarize your problem in the subject line.
  • Add details about what you want to do and why you want to do it.
  • Add details about what you already tried.

We recommend that you also attach screenshots and a support bundle. If you check the respective boxes, PRTG automatically creates these files for you. This helps us to solve your problem as fast as possible.

Administration Tool

In the PRTG Administration Tool, you can also send a support bundle to the Paessler support team: in the PRTG Administration Tool, go to Logs and Info and click Open Support Ticket.... This takes you to the Contact Us page on the Paessler website. Click Open a Support Ticket to open the Paessler Help Desk where you can fill out the details of your issue.

PRTG MultiBoard

If you use PRTG Multiboard, you can contact the Paessler support team via the application: go to Help | Contact Support in the main menu bar.

Paessler Help Desk

You can create tickets to request technical help or request new features in the Paessler Help Desk Portal.

Select which type of ticket you want to create and fill in the necessary details.
