Change Port of XML/HTTP sensor (Web Service)

Hi, I have a query with regards to monitoring web services either via HTTP or XML.

Currently I am trying to check the availability of a web service on:

http://SERVER:7047/DynamicsNAV/WS/Company/services

Sadly I keep getting access denied - and have figured out that the sensor may be ignoring the port (7074) in the URL.

Is this URL formed correctly? I cannot see any field on the sensor to specify the port manually

Sorry, but we cannot reproduce this issue! In several tests we have performed, the sensor takes the port number correctly from the URL.

If you get an "access denied" error, this rather indicates an authentication issue. Please check the requirements on your target server: Maybe it expects login credentials in the URL (as additional parameters), or a session ID or similar?

ok - thanks for trying. What I was trying to work out is if the sensor was 'honouring' the port - is this the case?

Thanks!
