Proper Custom Sensor with channels

Votes:

Hi Guys,

I have created my own custom SNMP oidlib sensor which works correctly but it adds a whole heap of sensors. Is there a way to order it so its just one sensor but with multiple channels.

Ideally I would like to make my own sensor which I could then also put default alarm and warning amounts against.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Unfortunately it's not possible to combine several OIDs into one Custom SNMP Sensor or SNMP Library Sensor. These need to be single sensors in the moment.
You can use the Sensor Factory to combine values of single sensors into one graph though.

best regards.

Hi Torsten,

Ive already combined the OIDs into an SNMP Library but this just gives me lots of sensors. Im wanting to know how I can setup channels.

Thanks Ben

That is not possible, sorry. Only one channel per library sensor is possible.
