Ping sensor is down but graph doesn't show downtime or packet loss

The graph I am referring to can be seen here: http://www.jackalwireless.net/untitled.png

Around 1800 the connection was down and so there is no data for latency but yet the lines (red and yellow) for downtime and packet loss don't show anything. What could cause this? Shouldn't loss be at 100% for that time period?

You screenshot shows a live graph. In live graphs failed requests are shown with a red dot on the horizontal axis. If the PING sensor sees 100% lost packets, it only shows an error (and not lost packets value anymore).
