Sharepoint 2013 Web Part

We would like to enable content to be part of a web part or exported xml, csv data so that we can intergrate it into Sharepoint 2013. We are looking to add this as part of an overall dashboard for in house monitoring in one central spot rather than have multiple dashboards for monitoring. For example we want to have web parts for PRTG to show uptime / status's of systems and we also use Solar Winds IP Monitor for other system monitoring. So these two plus others that we use we would like to have on one landing page rather having to log into multiple places. We also want to be able to publish this so that others in the company can see this at a glance without having to publish all users in these monitoring tools which also adds a bit of system security for us.

Are there components of the latest release that allow us to do this? Can daily reports or even live feed data be fed into Sharepoint 2013? Can a sharepoint web part access the DB that PRTG uses for information in a read only fashion?

If more information is needed please feel free to let me know. I thank you in advance for your assistance / guidance.

Kris.

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. The tool here, for PRTG, should be the "PRTG API". It's restful HTTP API, where other tools can request data in XML or CSV-Form. That refers to current state information, as well as historic data. It's even possible to change/edit objects in PRTG via the API (pause sensors for instance). For the full API documentation, please see "Setup"->"PRTG API" in your very own PRTG.

best regards.
