PRTG for Android on BlackBerry

If you are running BB OS 10.3 or higher, you have access to the Amazon App Store, where you can download our PRTG for Android app. Due to platform limitations with the Android runtime, the app can not run in the Work Perimeter, nor can it be distributed via BES.

It requires PRTG 14 or higher.

If you are not running BB OS 10.3 or higher, please use our old app, PRTGdroid as indicated below.

PRTGdroid on BB10 and Playbook OS 2.0

Note: If your BlackBerry is running a version older than BB10 or Playbook OS 2.0, the mobile web interface is your only option.

However, BlackBerry began including an Android runtime with the 2.0 release of their Playbook, and every few months since then, someone will ask us for a copy of our old Android client, PRTGdroid, so they can run it on their BB10 phone or Playbook.

To save you the steps involved in converting it, we've now converted it for you. You can download the package here and you can either search the WWW for "sideload blackberry" or follow these instructions to install it.

Unfortunately, we can't offer support for running PRTGdroid on BlackBerry, but hopefully it will work for you all the same.

Hello!

PRTG for Blackberry is recognized as ported Android app by the Blackberry Device Manager. Unfortunely this app can't be installed in the business section of Blackberry Balance because Android is not allowed there. Are you planning to develop a native BB10 app? We need it because Blackberry Balance is our only way to connect to our network. We will appreciate it.

No, we don't have plans for a native BB10 app at the moment, sorry. That may, of course, change depending on customer demand.

Hello! We have quite large PRTG installation, 20000+ sensors and it is constatntly growing, and company standard for mobile phones is BlackBerry. I will do appreciate to have PRTG app installed in the business section. For us this is the only option to have monitoring data available on mobile device. brg, TG.
