SNMP Sensor for SonicWALL GMS

Hello,

I would like to monitor the CPU/RAM of our SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS). The davice is a UMA (dedicated hardware from SonicWALL). The technical details:

Operating System: SonicLinuxi386 CPU: Intel Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E6400 @ 2.13GHz (2.13 GHz) 2 Cores Cache: 2048 (2 Logical CPUs)

I tried all of the SNMP sensors for CPU but nothing works. I also tried to import the MIB for the GMS, but it didn't work either.

Does anyone know the OID foer that or just a sensor type, which is working with that?

If you run a SNMP walk on 1.3.6.1 or you run a scan interfaces or uptime scan with the SNMP Tester do you get any kind of results.

It may be that the PRTG server has not be set in the Sonicwall to be allowed to read the SNMP agent on the Sonicwall. You set this up under System->Administration->Advanced Management->Configure button. There you can specify the community name as well as the computers that are allowed to read those values.

It looks from this test like the Sonicwall has not been configured to allow the PRTG server to read the SNMP data. Please check the article here for more information on how to enable this. Make sure that you allow the IP for your PRTG server to access this information.
