This error is first thing I see when I open network monitor. It doesn't allow me to cancel and continue to network manager, it just hangs there

Was there a resolution to this issue? I am getting the same error upon searching for a string with one of the group accounts that has got read only access to the whole device tree.

David, you are likely running into another issue, but see the same error message (for a different reason). Which exact version of PRTG are you running?
