Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler sensor

Hello. PRTG v 13.4.7.3532 On server(win 2008 r2) i have tasks in Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler. I want to make sensor , which sends me e-mail, when Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler have warnings or errors. Basic sensors WMI Event Log or Event Log (Windows API) dont do this job. Please tell me how to do it? Sorry for my english.

Hi,

have you already tried the Windows Scheduled Task sensor? It returns the number of minutes since the last run of the specified task as well as the exit code. If a task was never run or if a defined Exit code does not match, the sensor shows an error. Then you can create a corresponding State Trigger ("if sensor is down"...) and notification to get an email in this case.

Does this sensor type fulfill your requirements?


Important note: The Windows Scheduled Task sensor is deprecated as of PRTG version 16.1.23.
