How can i enable a host header to point to prtgip address

i have taken over an install of prtg, i have setup the follwoing dns a record to point to the server, i get an login prompt but from there i get just an iis page i wish to browse to the prtg installation from a hostname

Hi,
you can set a custom DNS name in PRTG itself. The web server will then listen to the set up DNS name as well as to the IP address. In the web interface, just go to Setup | System & Website, there provide the DNS name under setting DNS Name. Now you should be able to use the web interface with the hostname.
