Disk space sensor doesn't stick to limits?

Votes:

I have enabled limits on an ESXi SSH disk sensor. The lower warning limit is 20%, the lower error limit is 10%. Even though these limits are enabled on the "Free space" sensor, it still returns a warning of:

"22 % (Free Space) is below the warning limit of 25 %"

Have I missed something? It works for all my other sensors(Windows SNMP disk space and other ESXi SSH sensors)

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. May I ask, where exactly did you set the limits on the sensor? On its Settings-tab? Or on a specific Channel-Settings-tab? In case of the latter, please bear in mind that the sensor has limits also set by default on its Settings-tab, which might then conflict the new limits on a Channel.

best regards

Hi,

There were no limits enabled on the root sensor(only the channel had limits enabled). I rebooted the server and all is well(probably should have done that first)

Thanks for your help!
