PRTG Server Time

Afternoon,

Currently our PRTG server takes its time from the Windows server it is installed on. Is there anyway to link PRTG to a NTP server, for example the one we use for our managed routers?

Cheers.

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm sorry, PRTG itself cannot be pointed to a certain NTP-Server. It uses the system time of the Windows machine it runs on. Please try changing the Windows Server "below" PRTG to use the NTP-Server, that also your routers use.

best regards.

Many thanks. I pointed the Windows server to the same NTP server as our routers and they now match perfectly. I've added an SNTP sensor to keep track of this in the future. Many thanks.
