Hello

Is it possible to monitor the traffic on fibre channel cards. We normally use Emulex SAN cards on our windows server. SNMP would be the best choice for me. Thank you

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Can you try to use our SNMP Tester run it on the PRTG Host, and perform a "Scan available standard interfaces" against the target device? Is the fiber channel NIC among the list in the results of the SNMP Tester

best regards

Hello

No, the fibre channel is not recognized by the "Scan available standard interfaces". Thank you for your fast answer.

I'm afraid then we can only suggest to consult with the vendor, why it doesn't "register" in the SNMP Interfaces. Or if monitoring it via an MIB - File is possible, please use our MIB-Importer to import it then.
