I need to change the monitored service within the WMI Service monitor sensor.

Specificly, a service has change his name and I have a few more to monitor.

Should I really remove the sensor and create a new one, therefore loosing the sensors statistical data ?

services windows wmi-service

The only way to keep the historical data without having to have it count against the sensor count would be to pause it. There is no way to change the service in these sensors, you have to create a new sensor. The way that these sensors are created does not allow for a simple name change unfortunately since the WMI query for the services and the configuration of the sensor are not shown because of complexity.
