How can I use [hostname] in port name template?

From the portname template I would like to setup automatic sensor naming using the following template: [hostname] - [ifdescr] ([port])

Is this possible at all?

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm very sorry, but that is not possible. The Port name template field can only work with the parameters outlined in this article.
