Placeholders for Subgroups

notification prtg subgroup

Hello,

is it possible to have placeholders for subgroups in E-Mail notifications? For example:

-Probe
   - Group 1
      - Group 2
         - Group 3
            Device

can the notification in the Mail show all 3 groups?

Because of the way that the groups are stored in the PRTG configuration this is not possible.

We are considering changing the way that the groups are nested but we will need for people to vote here to see if this is something that is desired by more than a few people. Please post in this thread if this is something you would like to see in PRTG!

this would be great! we use a workaround at the moment that we write the groupe name in the comments of every device.
