Sending SMS notification doesn't work

I've setup a custom url for SMS notification which works fine in PRTG 14 (we use a free version) but in version 7 (licensed version), the same URL doesn't work. The error is: Error sending SMS: Number=31xxxxxxxx Message=Error connecting with SSL.

Is v7 too old to work with our SMS provider?

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. I'm afraid this is most likely an Encoding issue, an update to PRTG 14 would be the best solution here. Or you would try to work-around this, with a script notification doing the HTTP Request for the sms.
