Wir nutzen die automatische Sensorensuche sehr häufig.
Was uns aber stört ist, dass wir jeden gefundenen Sensor nochmal umbenennen müssen. Warum bekommen die Sensoren Namen wie "Ping 4" oder "Laufwerk 3".
Kann man diese Zahlen im Namen deaktivieren?

PTF.RenameSensors
You can get rid of the trailing numers using the PTF.RenameSensors tool.
Get rid of the trailing numbers in a sensor name
The Renaming Rules allow you to get rid of the trailing numbers in all your sensor names. Sensor names like “PING 2” and “HTTP 1” will be renamed to “PING” and “HTTP” in one batch.
Universal naming
Do you want to rename all your “PING”, “PING 1”, “PING 2”, “ping” and “Ping” sensors to one universal name like “PING”?
PTF RenameSensors finds them for you and renames them according the Renaming Rules that you can set yourself.
Review your changes before submitting
A listing is generated of suggested name changes. You can alter the suggested names or even completely remove a suggested change from the list before submitting the name changes to PRTG.
