Monitoring a service when started

How to get PRTG to alert when a service is started as opposed to when it goes down? Also is ther ea way to check for a process when it is running rather than the current method?

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Please try using a self-written Custom Exe/Script Sensor to solve this special scenario, which is not covered by PRTGs default sensors.

The only built in way to monitor a process is via WMI monitor.
