How to change PRTG Probe IP address?

Votes:

0

We added a secondary IP to a existing network interface on a win 2008 server where PRTG NM is installed.

Now we'd like to configure the local probe to use the additional IP to communicate with the monitored systems. So, we select the additional IP in the "PRTG Probe Admin Tool".

But, as we can see, in a network sniffer, PRTG still use the "old" IP?!?

At the moment PRTG uses the "Outgoing IP" for http sensors only. Sorry for not making this clear.

However, we are already working on enhancing more sensor types with the Outgoing IP feature.
