Summarized notifications showing %probe instead of the probe name

Example:

Subject line for regular notification. [Tellworks-GA] D-Link DAP-2553 (192.168.2.9) (006) ath0 (SNMP Traffic) Down ESCALATION

Subject line for Summarized notification. %probe 4 Summarized Notifications

Both are configured the same. See below for examples. I have tried with and without brackets. Summarized: %probe %summarycount Summarized Notifications Regular: [%probe] %device %name %status %down (%message)

What can I check?

-probe notification-email subject

Hello,

thank you very much for your KB-Post. Not all placeholders are filled in the subject line of summary notification mails. Because there could be several probes involved here, if the sensors are under several probes. Sorry.

best regards.

Darn. My understanding is that Summarized notification were Summarized for each probe. I only have one probe per site at the moment. Can they be summarized by device? Any other options for summarized notifications?

You could limit the notifications to one Probe, by setting different triggers (with different notifications) per Probe. But I'm afraid still the %probe-Placeholder won't be filled then, because internally PRTG can't know if the notifications are really from only one Probe, so the placeholder is not filled in general.
