Custom sniffer sensor ignores channel definition edits

Votes:

I have just discovered the excellent custom sniffer sensor and set it up with a set of channels. I then (later) changed some channels so that they had different names and so on, but these edits do NOT seem to appear on the graphs. The edits appear in the settings tab and are saved every time I make new edits, but none of them appear on the graphs or data table.

Why is this?

bandwidthsensor bug custom sniffer

Hello,

thank you very much for your support ticket. With changing the names of already existing channels, please try changing those in the Channel Settings of each channel then. Please be careful though with changing the definitions themselves, for example if you include a new destination port to an existing channel, it will not change already "recorded" data (this data will not be analyzed again).

best regards.
