How to get RAW output in Sensor Overview?

Votes:

0

Hi,

We have just created a custom sensor calling a ps-script. The result is a list of usernames and a number count. Now all PRTG is showing in "Last Message" ist the number count but not the usernames. If i check for the logs on the probe server in the custom sensor logs all the results are shown.

How can we display exact the same as in the custom sensor log within the "Overview" statistics?

Many thanks for any input.

Dear user

The historic data only contains the numeric value, not the last message. The last message is a string up to 2000 characters long with no line breaks and cannot be stored for later use. It is intended to summarize the current sensor status with words, not to contain actual data.

To analyse what PRTG shows, please paste the sensor output in your reply (or if it contains information which should not be public, email us at [email protected]) You can enable "Write result to disk" in the sensor settings of the Exe/Script sensor and find the result in "C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs (Sensors)"
