Hi,

I am an intern in a firm , and we're thinking about buying PRTG. We've ran some test with the trial version and are really happy about it. But I have a question. If, after buying PRTG, we decide to change and we choose an other monitoring system, can we export PRTG's database and convert it in a other format in order to use it with the other monitoring system ?

Thank you for your answer, And sorry If I made mistakes, I'm french.

database export prtg14

Bonjour,

We currently don't offer specific export tools. It is possible to export data using the PRTG API in CSV or XML. The API documentation is integrated in the webinterface (menu Setup / PRTG API) and includes example API calls.

While this is no single-click solution, it is possible to write a script which iterates over all sensors and gets their data.

A PRTG user already wrote a script for automated export: https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/343
