After auto upgrade to v14.211.2272, can't start service core

Votes:

0

My system was running v14.2.10.2028 since 16 May 2014. On 14 June 2014, it attempted to auto install v14.2.11.272. Now the system is un-responsive via the console and web server. The server administrator shows the core is not running. When I attempt to start it manually, I get a popup: "Sorry, could not start the PRTG Core Server (Web server) Starting ..."

It seems like PRTG is still running (maybe a zombie process). Could you take a look at your task manager and check if there's still a process with PRTG in it's name? Kill them manually and restart the core server with the PRTG Server Administrator. If it doesn't start still, then please create a support request by mailing to support[at]paessler[.]com :)
