Custom warining and error

I've just added some sensors for my Dell Equalogic storage arrays using the MiB importer. Looks good and the process wasn't too involved.

I can't seem to change what constitutes a warning or error though.

For example, I add in the sensor for the physical disk status, there may be a few different ones reported (On-Line, Spare, Faulty, Historical failures etc.) - Is it possible to assign these to different warning levels?

So Active or Spare would = OK.

History of Failure = Warning

Failed = Error.

Is this possible using a custom SNMP sensor?

Ok so after a bit more Googling I found the answer. It was simply setting the limits on the channel.

Using the Dell MIB and importing it, automatically created the correct lookups, so '1' is 'OK' '2' is 'Spare' etc...

So I simply set the error threshold to 'Anything above 2 results in an error'
